Privacy Policy

P2P — Point to Point is operated by THE FOUNDATIONS OF PURITY FOR INVESTMENT LLC, Sultanate of Oman.

This Privacy Policy explains how P2P collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects personal data when you use the P2P customer application, P2P Express, P2P Global, our websites, support channels, and related delivery services.

1. Data we may collect

Depending on the service you use, we may collect:

  • Account information such as name, phone number, email address, password credentials in protected hashed form, account type, and business name.
  • Sender, recipient, and contact information required to create and perform a shipment.
  • Pickup and delivery addresses, map points, geographic coordinates, landmarks, and delivery instructions.
  • Shipment information including parcel type, weight, dimensions, declared value, contents description, service level, and tracking events.
  • International shipping and customs information, including declaration data, authorization/consent records, and documents required for customs or carrier processing.
  • Payment, wallet, billing, and transaction records where those features are available. Payment card data may be handled directly by an external payment provider rather than stored by P2P.
  • Device and technical data such as device identifiers, notification tokens, app version, operating system, security logs, and diagnostic records.
  • Communications with P2P support and operational contact-attempt records.
  • Delivery evidence where enabled, such as PIN verification, signatures, photographs, condition evidence, timestamps, and location evidence.
  • Business account information, including organization members, roles, permissions, and activity required to operate the business account.

2. How we use data

We use personal data to:

  • Create and authenticate accounts.
  • Calculate prices and determine service availability.
  • Arrange pickup, transport, customs processing, handoff, and delivery.
  • Provide tracking and shipment notifications.
  • Select and coordinate carriers and P2P first-mile or last-mile operations.
  • Process payments, wallet activity, billing, refunds, or adjustments where applicable.
  • Prevent fraud, abuse, misuse, and security incidents.
  • Provide customer support and resolve disputes.
  • Maintain operational records, audit trails, service quality, and legal compliance.
  • Improve the reliability and usability of P2P services.

3. Who we may share data with

We may share only the data reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose with:

  • Delivery drivers and authorized P2P operations personnel.
  • International or domestic carriers and logistics service providers used to perform a shipment.
  • Payment processors and financial service providers where payment features are used.
  • Mapping, geocoding, communications, notification, hosting, security, analytics, or technical service providers used by P2P.
  • Customs, tax, law-enforcement, courts, regulators, or other public authorities when required by law or necessary for shipment clearance.
  • Professional advisers and service providers acting under confidentiality or data-protection obligations.

We do not sell personal data as a standalone product.

4. Location data

Location and map data may be used to select pickup or delivery points, verify that an Express route is within the selected market, help drivers navigate, and create operational delivery records. Your physical location does not determine whether you may create a P2P Express order; the shipment points themselves must be inside the selected supported market.

5. International shipments and customs

For international shipments, P2P may need to provide shipment, sender, recipient, declared value, item description, and related customs information to carriers and competent authorities. If additional customs clearance, authorization, or documentation is required, P2P Customer Care may contact you.

6. Data retention

We retain data only for as long as reasonably necessary for service delivery, security, dispute handling, accounting, audit, legal, regulatory, customs, tax, or other legitimate operational requirements. Different records may have different retention periods.

When an account is deleted, the personal account record and authentication data are deleted. Certain shipment, quote, financial, dispute, audit, customs, or other operational records may remain where required for legal, regulatory, accounting, fraud-prevention, safety, or legitimate operational purposes. Where technically appropriate, those records are detached from the deleted customer account or otherwise minimized.

See the separate Data Retention and Account Deletion pages for more information.

7. Account deletion and your choices

You may request permanent account deletion from inside the P2P app. P2P also provides a web-based account deletion path for users who no longer have access to the app.

You may also request correction of inaccurate account information or contact P2P regarding privacy questions using the support details published in the app and on our website.

8. Security

P2P uses technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure. No internet or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

9. Children

P2P is a logistics and delivery service and is not designed as a service directed to children. Users must have the legal capacity required to create an account or arrange services in their jurisdiction.

10. International processing

Because P2P Global may involve multiple countries and international carriers, data may be processed or transferred across borders where necessary to perform the service, subject to applicable legal and contractual safeguards.

11. Changes to this policy

P2P may update this policy to reflect legal, operational, technical, or store-policy requirements. The current published version is the version shown in the app and on the P2P website.
